Gallery Talk: Edvard Grieg: Composer and Ambassador of Nordic Sound
Tehillah Moses, Program Educator at Ruthmere, will present a Gallery Talk entitled "Edvard Grieg: Composer and Ambassador of Nordic Sound", on Thursday, September 3rd at 11 am in the Ruthmere Game Room. Luke and Mary Rose Norell, who teach piano at the Goshen College Community School of the Arts, will be playing sample pieces of Grieg's compositions during the presentation.
Edvard Grieg was the most well-known Norwegian composer from the Victorian era or the Romantic period of classical music. We will explore his life, background and influences that helped create his uniquely Norwegian style of composing and listen to examples of his work.
This Gallery Talk is sponsored by Ann Wroblewski! Thank you!
