Derby Day -Signature Event

Ruthmere Derby Day will be held on Saturday May 2 from 4:30-7:30 pm as we once again transform the grounds of Ruthmere Mansion into a sprawling estate of activities that’s an odd’s on favorite to win!

Ticket Types:

VIP Underwriter Experiences
An elevated VIP Underwriter Experience is available for all 3 Ruthmere Signature Events in 2026:
-Derby Day on May 2
-Elkhart Summer Celebration Cookout on August 15
-Ruthmere Night at Holiday Lights on December 4

VIP Underwriter Tables of 8 and VIP Individual Underwriter tickets are available for ADVANCED PURCHASE of multiple 2026 Signature Events, and can be purchased at a discounted rate in one transaction.

2026 DERBY DAY - Ruthmere Signature Event

VIP Table of 8 Underwriter receives:
-Reserved Table of 8 for your party.
-Up to 2 additional seats at your table to a maximum of 10 for $200 per seat.
-16 drink tickets for 8 people. 2 drink tickets for additional seat holders.
-Plus one bottle of champagne or premium non-alcohol beverage bottle at your table.
-Themed food for all provided by The Galley Catering.
-Derby Day Underwriter VIPSs will receive handsomely engraved mint julep cups (limited supply for the first 148 VIPs).
-1 Pick the Winner entry per each person at the table.
-Free photo op with Sarge the horse from RC Egan Training Stables.
-Exclusive invitation to the Derby Day Afterparty from 8-11pm at the Hotel Elkhart High Note Bar for additional desserts and music featuring solo guitarist Rafael Chávez y Moreno. Complimentary first drink from the bar for each VIP. Cash bar thereafter.

VIP Individual Underwriter receives:
-Preferred seating in VIP Table area.
-4 drink tickets per VIP to use any way they wish. Note, bottles of champagne are 5 tickets.
-Themed food provided by The Galley Catering.
-1 Pick the Winner entry per VIP Individual.
-Free photo op with Sarge the horse from RC Egan Training Stables.
